I'm going to have another baby!

I posted just few months ago about me getting jealous of my pregnant friends, and here I am, I found out I am pregnant after Christmas.

Before I got pregnant with my first child, my menstruation ranges from 29 - 31days, and some rare occasions that I have it at 32 - 36 days. After I gave birth to my first child and got my period back after taking pills for a few months, my menstruation now ranges from 27 - 29 days. There are very rare occasions that I get my menstruation at 30 - 33 days.

So, I was on my 27th day since my LMP (last menstrual period - before Christmas) that I took a pregnancy test. I got 2 extra PT from that time I thought I was pregnant few months ago. My husband and I joke about this a lot, that I always get my menstruation right after I take a pregnancy test. So while taking that test, I was laughing at myself thinking that I'm gonna have my period if not today, tomorrow.

After I took the test, of course I only saw one line. But I honestly thought I saw a very faint second line. But then again, I thought I'm delusional (just like few months ago), and that I'm not gonna expect anything. Then I threw that PT and waited for my menstruation.

But, I didn't get my menstruation on that day, and even on the next day. I felt weird, because I always get my period after I take a PT, but this time, I didn't. So I decided that I'm gonna have another PR at 31 days since LMP which is going to be a few days after Christmas.

I took another pregnancy test. First few minutes only showed one line, so I thought I'm not pregnant, but it's weird that I'm not having my period yet. After 3 minutes though, I couldn't believe it. There's really a faint line, and no matter how much I stare at it, I'm not being delusional this time, there really is a faint line!

I showed this to my husband and told him I'm pregnant. And asked him to get another pregnancy test kit so I can check tomorrow. FYI regarding pregnancy test kits, the faint line means Positive, no matter how faint that line is. It only means you tested very early, and your body hasn't made a lot of hCG hormones yet. But as the days go by, your body will be able to make more hCG and the more hCG you have, the clearer, bolder 2nd line you'll get on your PT.

Of course I did a retest, to be sure. And this time, the 2nd line is clearer. So that's how I confirmed I'm pregnant with my second baby.

We haven't made an appointment with our OBGYN yet. I decided to wait a few more weeks before going. But I started taking my prenatal vitamins already. To help our baby grow healthily.

We're happy and excited to have you little one! I know it sounds cliche, but I really never thought I could love this much. I love my son so much, even though there are times that I do get angry because he's very playful (ehem, naughty), and wouldn't listen, but I love him so much. So I know that I'm going to love this new little one, too, as much as I also love his/her kuya.
